Welcome to Rheld Farm CL
Our evening milking starts around 5pm, which means the entrance to the site maybe briefly closed as we bring in the cows. This brief pause in access ensures both their safety and yours, and offers an authentic glimpse into farm living that many find memorable.
As a working farm please be aware of regular movements of tractors, machinery, livestock and deliveries.
Please find below information about your arrival at Rheld Farm.
Directions
We are located on the A40 on the Abergavenny side of Crickhowell.
From Abergavenny, follow the A40 through Glangrwyney, past Crickhowell Rugby Club, we are the next turn on your right, after Cwrt-yr-Gollen Training Camp, (NB. Our postcode is shared with the lodge at the entrance to the camp). If you reach Elvicta Business Park you have just missed us, there is a layby a few 100yds up the road where you can turn safely.
If you are travelling via the A465 'Heads of the Valleys' we advise exiting at the A4143 slip road for Llanfoist/ Abergavenny (next to McDonalds and Costa Coffee), follow the signs for Nevil Hall Hospital, which will get you on to the A40 Brecon Road. If you miss the Llanfoist exit continue along the A465 and exit at Gilwern, taking the 3rd exit off the roundabout for Gilwern, follow the A4077 which will take you to Crickhowell via the bridge.
ignore Satnavs which may take you down country roads as the shortest route, these roads are narrow and unsuitable for caravans and Motorhomes.
From Crickhowell, follow the A40 through the town, past Elvicta business park on your right, we are the first farm on the left just after Crickhowell FC.
